POWER WASH FILTRATION

POWER WASH FILTRATION

I'm glad to tell you all about a very cool thing that happened recently at The Doug Rucker Store in Porter, Texas near Houston.  Tony and Shelly Shelton were in the area and surprised me with a drop in visit!  Cathy and I went to dinner with them, and enjoyed building lasting memories together on their visit. Tony and Shelly are the proud parents of Fayth Shelton who is the owner of BATGuard Pro T.  It is by far the best ground level water filtration available on the market today.  We use it when we are pressure cleaning parking lots, sidewalks and other commercial property projects.  In this video, Tony and Shelly provide more insight and advice that might help you all who are using this great product in your business.  Power Wash Filtration is a major issue in our industry that all contractors must be aware of.

BLEACH NOT FILTERED

We do get a lot of wide ranging questions from power wash contractors using BATGuard ProT.  One of those question is whether bleach is being filtered with the product.  And the answer is no, it does not filter bleach.  However, Fayth is presently working on something that will deal with that issue. So stay tuned in the future for the release of a new angle that will provide a solution for filtering bleach.  The main things that we use it to filter include things like grease, oil, heavy metals, and just about any contaminant.  It also filters out the degreaser or other chemical you might be using.

LOCAL REGULATIONS

The regulations for power wash contractor water run off filtration is usually somewhere within your city or county codes.  You could actually contact Fayth directly yourself and she could provide assistance and guidance in learning those local regulations.  Her contact info is FaythWorx@Gmail.com or (702) 375-4458.  Some local regulators allow use of BatGuard in place of having to reclaim the water.  We love this family and appreciate their friendship in this industry down through the many years we have known each other.  In fact, I am "Fayth's favorite UNCLE.":)  By the way, the B.A.T. stands for "best available technology."  This is from the clean water act which requires that we use the best available technology to reduce contaminants running into our water ways.  Listen to more about this at the 8:00 time stamp and take time to watch it in its entirety!  For further learning if you are a new power wash contractor, check out my online video school.  There are over 275 videos that you can use on demand from the comfort of your own home or office.  It will drastically reduce your learning curb.
